The Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments announce multiple Affordable Housing units to be built!

Affordable housing is housing that is deemed affordable to those with a household income at or below the median, Affordable housing (rental and ownership) is one of the components that make up a healthy housing stock along with emergency shelters, transitional housing, social housing and market housing.
Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments offer mortgages, interest free funds, subsidized rents to allow "for profit" developers to produce the inventory that they build and own. In Canada, housing is considered “affordable” if it costs less than 30% of a household’s before-tax income. Income is Necessary to Qualify.
